Meet the neighbors
Misty Morning is a working farm, and the animals are part of the stay. Visit as often as you like.

Kokomo
Rosalie has had her since she was a baby, 24 years ago. Talk to her, stretch your arms and bob your head. Just keep your fingers away from the cage.
“Kokomo was a crowd pleaser and entertained us throughout our visit.”Stephanie, January 2026

The horses
Out in the pasture most days. Guests have even fed them in the morning.
- A four-stall barn
- Extra stalls for rent, if you want to bring your own horse
- Sheep and cows across the road

The pigs and the chickens
Guests have fed the pigs a few times during their stays. The chickens supply your breakfast eggs, and the roosters make sure you are up for sunrise.
“It was such a treat having farm-fresh eggs and honey from her farm.”Jordan, Tampa, Florida
It is a farm, so roosters, hens, sheep, cows and Kokomo all have something to say during the day. Nights are very quiet.

Lessons and boarding on the farm
Misty Morning Farms also offers riding lessons for beginner to advanced riders, trainer rides, and full-care boarding at $350 a month with a trainer on the premises. Private lessons are $40 an hour.

Hosted by Rosalie
Rosalie bought the farm on a whim, counting on her kids to help. When they moved on, she found out she loves the country, and that farm work is not so bad, even at 94 degrees. She lives on the property, so help is close by, and guests say she answers fast and thinks of everything.
